Principle
This website does without cookies and without tracking that identifies individuals. No profiles are built and no data is passed on for advertising purposes. Anonymous web analytics is provided by a cookieless service (see the “Web analytics” section). Fonts are served locally; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service.
Hosting
This website is hosted with Vercel Inc. (USA) and served via European server locations. When the website is accessed, the host processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type) in server log files in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. Transfers to the USA are based on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.
Web analytics
For statistical analysis of website usage I use Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., USA). The service works without cookies and without cross-device recognition: no identifiers are stored on your device and no profiles are built. Only aggregated metrics are recorded, such as pages visited, approximate region of origin, device type and referring website; the IP address is used only briefly and without being stored to derive anonymous values. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual people. Transfers to the USA are based on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. Because no personal data is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required for this.
